PITCHADJUST | CHRONIQUE

This is the second release, from the famed Parisian imprint with an interesting design and name, Discomobile. "D'Jazz Tribute" is a gorgeous slice of housey nu-jazz, with bright eye catching keys, warm pads, touching electric guitar and deep brass edges. The "Lady Day Space Mix" goes further onto the floor, using gutsy electric guitar, hanclap percussion, dirty edged bass and a vocodered vocal. "Paradisco !" heads off somewhere completely different, with its weird offbeat drunken synth, bleepy keys and ravishing strings. The "Minimal Mix" of "Paradisco!" sobers up the synth, while a funky guitar adds meat to the bones, and keys twinkle.
